Attending City Council virtual meetings

29 April 2022 – Further to a direction from the Town Clerk of the Council of the City of Chichester, all Council, Committee and Sub-Committee meetings will be held in person in the Council House, North Street, Chichester.

The Press and public are still entitled to attend meetings virtually as well as in person.

Where meetings are held on the Zoom platform there will be two main ways to attend these meetings:

  • Online with a PC, laptop, smartphone, tablet etc
  • Dialling in to the meeting for audio only attendance via a mobile phone or landline (please note call charges may apply)

In order to allow the smooth running of the meetings, the registration process will be as follows:

  • Send an e-mail to: meetings@chichestercity.gov.uk – a meeting invitation will be sent to you directly by email.
  • Call 01243 788502 – you will be given the dial in numbers, meeting ID and password.

In both cases, we will make a note of your details to allow us to contact you in the event that the meeting has to be cancelled or rearranged.

We ask that you do NOT share these details with anyone else. If you are aware of others who wish to attend, please ask them to contact us via the routes given above.

Due to the well publicised issues of Zoom-bombing, we will NOT be publicising the meeting ID or password directly on our website or noticeboards and we would ask you to respect this decision.

The meeting will be started 15 minutes before the formal start time to allow attendees to arrive and be added to the meeting.
