CCC welcomes its new president, Simon Crawford-Phillips, international pianist, chamber musician and conductor, to open the 2022/23 season in duo with one of today’s most in demand violists, Lawrence Power. This acclaimed partnership has seen the duo perform internationally from London’s Wigmore Hall to New York’s Lincoln Centre. They have made many recordings (Brahms, Arthur Benjamin, an all-French disc of works of Chausson, Ravel, Debussy) which have always garnered high praise. As an added bonus in their programme we can enjoy Power’s performance both on violin as well as viola.
