Lighting up Litten Gardens

Chichester City Council is pleased to announce that the installation of new heritage lamp posts around the main path in Litten Gardens has now bee completed.

The project is intended to extend the time that the Gardens can be used and to improve the safety for visitors at night.

Using low energy LED lamps that are designed to produce minimal light pollution, the lamps are light sensitive - turning on at dusk and turning off again at midnight.

We hope that visitors will enjoy the new amenity which was paid for from Community Infrastructure Levy monies that are specifically set aside for projects to improve the local physical environment.
