City Council virtual meetings
Attending City Council virtual meetings
From May 27 2020, Chichester City Council will be resuming its Committee and Council meetings. It is currently intended that, from this date, the meetings will follow the published schedule.
The first meeting will be the Planning and Conservation Committee.
In line with current Government Covid-19 guidelines, these meetings will be held virtually until further notice.
The meetings will be held on the Zoom platform and there will be two overall ways to attend these meetings:
- Online with a PC, laptop, smartphone, tablet etc
- Dialling in to the meeting for audio only attendance via a mobile phone or landline (please note call charges may apply)
In order to allow the smooth running of the meeting, the registration process will be as follows:
- Send an eMail to: firstname.lastname@example.org – a meeting invitation will be sent to you directly by email.
- Call 07399 579210 – you will be given the dial in numbers, meeting ID and password.
In both cases, we will make a note of your details to allow us to contact you in the event that the meeting has to be cancelled or rearranged.
We ask that you do NOT share these details with anyone else. If you are aware of others who wish to attend, please ask them to contact us via the routes given above.
Due to the well publicised issues of Zoom-bombing, we will NOT be publicising the meeting ID or password directly on our website or noticeboards and we would ask you to respect this decision.
The meeting will be started 15 minutes before the formal start time to allow attendees to arrive and be added to the meeting.
