5. MINUTES OF THE PLANNING AND CONSERVATION COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON 18 JULY 2024

To approve and sign as a correct record the minutes of the Planning and Conservation Committee meeting held on 18 July 2024.

6. APPLICATIONS FOR PLANNING PERMISSION

Planning Adviser to report (report attached).

7. ENFORCEMENT MATTERS

To note any planning enforcement matters.

8. UPDATES ON ACTIONS FROM THE PREVIOUS MEETING

Minute 33 – Highways safety re. Bognor Road

To note that at the Extra Ordinary meeting of the City Council held on 31 July 2024 it was RESOLVED to offer funding for the build out Community Highways Scheme on Bognor Road in the amount of 20% of the project cost up to a maximum of £10,000 (minute 36 refers).

9. WSCC CONSULTATION – PROPOSED EV CHARGE POINT INSTALLATION LOCATIONS

Deferred from the meeting held on 18 July 2024 for Committee to decide whether to send a City Council response (minute 29 refers).

10. NATIONAL PLANNING POLICY FRAMEWORK CONSULTATION

Planning Adviser and Town Clerk to report.

11. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN UPDATE

Town Clerk to report further to the consultation on the new National Planning Policy Framework.

12. CHICHESTER DISTRICT COUNCIL DRAFT GAMBLING ACT 2005 STATEMENT OF POLICY 2025-2028 CONSULTATION

Town Clerk to give a verbal report.

The filming, photographing and recording of City Council meetings is now permitted by those members of the press and public attending. This includes the use of mobile devices by those using social media. It would be appreciated if anyone who wishes to do this could let the Chairman know before the meeting commences.

However, these provisions will not apply on occasions where the press and public are excluded from the meeting when confidential matters are discussed.

It is requested that discretion is exercised and nothing done to disrupt or distract the meeting in any way. The Chairman will reserve the right to request that filming/recording ceases if it is having a detrimental effect upon the meeting. If you do not wish to be filmed then please let the Chairman know so that alternative arrangements can be made
