FINANCE COMMITTEE

PRESENT: Councillors Miall and Scicluna (AS)
EX-OFFICIO: None
ALSO IN ATTENDANCE: Councillor Butler (AB), Town Clerk (TC), Deputy Town Clerk/Responsible Finance Officer (DTC), Council Services and Support Manager (CSSM), Project Manager (PM), Property Maintenance Manager (PMM).
Apologies had been received from the Mayor, Councillor McHale, and Councillor Loxton
Councillors Pramas and Squire were absent.
As the meeting was inquorate, no business could be transacted.
The Town Clerk and Deputy Town Clerk advised that, due to the statutory requirement for Full
Council approval, the items on the agenda regarding the Statement of Accounts 2024-2025,
Budget transfers and reserves, Internal Control Policy, Internal Audit and Annual Governance
Returns parts 1 and 2; would be transferred to the agenda for the full meeting of Council being
held on 25 June 2025 to be considered and signed off prior to the deadline for submission to
the External Auditors by the end of June.
A new meeting time for the Finance Committee to consider the remaining items on the agenda for this meeting was proposed for Wednesday 9 July 2025 at 5.30pm.
