3. PROPOSAL FOR INSTALLATION OF A BENCH AT BUS STATION (52/53 SERVICE TO WITTERINGS)

Requests have been received for the installation of a bench on the pavement at the bus station serving the 52/53 route to the Witterings.

4. INTRODUCTION OF WATER CHAMPION – PARISHES & COMMUNITIES FOR THE WESTERN SUSSEX RIVERS TRUST

Water Champion’s help parish councils and communities interpret, understand, and take action for their local water environment, and help build a community of change. This is part of the collaborative Downs to the Sea project.

5. MINUTES OF THE PLANNING AND CONSERVATION COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON 30 JANUARY 2025

To approve and sign as a correct record the minutes of the Planning and Conservation Committee meeting held on 19 JUNE 2025.

To note the completion of the following actions:

  • Minute 10 – Officers to update the Committee schedule for the Council Year to reflect the agreed times and dates.
  • Minute 13 & 14 – Officers to submit comments from the committee to Chichester District Council

The filming, photographing and recording of City Council meetings is now permitted by those members of the press and public attending. This includes the use of mobile devices by those using social media. It would be appreciated if anyone who wishes to do this could let the Chairman know before the meeting commences.

However, these provisions will not apply on occasions where the press and public are excluded from the meeting when confidential matters are discussed.

It is requested that discretion is exercised and nothing done to disrupt or distract the meeting in any way. The Chairman will reserve the right to request that filming/recording ceases if it is having a detrimental effect upon the meeting. If you do not wish to be filmed then please let the Chairman know so that alternative arrangements can be made
