Chichester Gala 2026

CHICHESTER GALA SATURDAY 27 JUNE 2026 11 am – 9 pm PRIORY PARK Entertainment Activities Food & Drink FREE ENTRY www.chichestercity.gov.uk/gala 01243 788502 CHICHESTER CITY COUNCIL

Chichester’s biggest free outdoor event returns this summer and promises to be the most exciting yet, with 24 unique acts performing across two stages. The Gala brings together the very best of the city’s entertainment, food and drink, independent businesses, and community groups for a full day of celebration. Join us on Saturday 27 June in Priory Park, where festivities will run from 11am through to 9pm.

This year’s main stage features a standout line‑up of local community performers throughout the day, followed by evening sets from  Rude Eyes a youthful pop and rock function band; Irrelevant Elephant, known for their vibrant jazz‑funk sound; and House of Anthems, who will close the event with a spectacular Ibiza‑inspired set of live club classics.

The Community Stage keeps the spotlight on local talent, offering a varied programme including children’s entertainment, choirs, poetry readings, and belly dancing. Performances on both stages begin at 11am, with the Community Stage running until 5.30pm and main stage entertainment continuing until 9pm.

Families can enjoy rides on the miniature railway operated by Chichester Model Engineers, a children’s circus tent, animal encounters, and a classic car show featuring rare and much‑loved vehicles. The funfair returns with attractions for all ages, including traditional fairground rides and games.

Food lovers will find plenty to enjoy, with a wide selection of local pop‑up food and drink offering everything from refreshing ice creams to hearty meals. Independent traders will also be out in force, both in the stalls and inside the Guildhall, with unique items to browse and take home.

As a community‑focused event, the Gala will also host a wide range of voluntary and charitable organisations, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about their work and upcoming activities.
