CHICHESTER CITY COUNCIL COMMUNITY GRANTS
Chichester City Council offers a variety of grants to groups based in the city or whose work is mainly focused within the Parish of Chichester and you may be eligible if you are:
- a non-profit making organisation
- Chichester focused organisation, either through geographic location or target group
Grants fall into three categories:
- Large Grants: Up to £5,000 per year for core running costs for a maximum period of the current Council term.
- Community Grants: Up to £3,000 for one-off projects, events or activities.
- Free Use: Organisations can apply for free use of Council facilities.
PLEASE NOTE: THE LARGE GRANTS SCHEME IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO NEW APPLICANTS. OTHER GRANTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE.
Grant applications are considered on a rolling basis throughout the year at the quarterly Community Affairs Committee meetings. Please see the City Council website for details of the meeting calendar.
For larger projects that are beyond the scope of Discretionary Grants, the City Council may be able to advise on alternative funding sources.
