EXTRA ORDINARY MEETING OF COUNCIL

PRESENT: The Mayor, Councillor Quail, and Councillors Butler, Chant, C Gershater, J Gershater, Kondabeka (from 6.03pm), Loxton, Miall, Moore, Scicluna and Squire

ALSO IN ATTENDANCE: Town Clerk, Deputy Town Clerk

27. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies were noted from Councillors Apel, McHale, Pramas, Knight and Vivian

Councillors Corfield and Hitchman were absent.

28. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST BY MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL IN MATTERS ARISING ON THE AGENDA FOR THIS MEETING

No declarations were made.

29. PUBLIC BODIES (ADMISSION TO MEETINGS ACT) 1960

Council RESOLVED that the public and press be excluded from this meeting for Agenda Item 4 due to the confidential nature of the business to be transacted namely financial and business affairs of third parties.

30. MATTERS RELATING TO THE MARKET HOUSE

Councillor Kondabeka joined the meeting at 6.03pm.

Councillors considered the confidential report prepared by the Town Clerk and RESOLVED to pursue option 1 in the report and do nothing.

31. COMMON SEAL

RESOLVED that the Common Seal be affixed to any documents necessary to give effect to the resolutions passed at this meeting.
