Remembrance Sunday Service video – 8 November 2020
During the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Chichester City Council will not be holding a formal commemoration on Sunday 8th November 2020.
Therefore, we are encouraging residents and others to remember from home this year.
We ask that, at 11am on November 8th 2020, you stand for two minutes in silence and reflect on those who served to preserve the freedoms we enjoy today.
To show its respect to the memories of those who have served their country and for those who have fallen, Chichester City Council has teamed up with Chichester Film and Video Makers to produce an alternative commemoration service in the form of a video.
If you wish to join in with the service of commemoration and remembrance from home, you can download the order of service here.
Alternatively, the full text of the spoken word and the song lyrics are available if you turn the subtitles on.
You can also download a Remember from Home poster to display to show your support for this important initiative.
