Sub-Committees
Sub-Committees usually consist of members from the Parent Committee that it reports to.
A brief description of the activities carried out by each Sub-Committee is given below.
Reporting to Finance Committee
Business Plan Sub-Committee
- To manage the City Council’s Business Plan, projects arising from it and advise the Council upon a priority list of relevant schemes.

Community Liaison Sub-Committee
- Responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of City Council relationships with key community stakeholders and groups. Its purpose is to liaise directly with the organisations working in the community sector, to understand the activities and services being delivered and to ensure that the City Council is well briefed on emerging issues and trends to inform future policy and project development.

Personnel Sub-Committee (re-formed in June 2022)
The Personnel Sub-Committee reports to the Finance Committee.
The Sub-Committee meets as required. It is responsible for all human resource and personnel policies and structures within the City Council.

Property Sub-Committee
The Property Sub-Committee reports to the Finance Committee.
The Sub-Committee meets three to four times a year. It is responsible for all projects and maintenance relating to the City Council’s physical assets.

Reporting to Planning & Conservation Committee
Planning Delegation Sub-Committee (not currently active as at June 2022)
- To discuss Planning Applications
