3. MINUTES OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON 4 DECEMBER 2024
To approve and sign as a correct record the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting held on 4 December 2024.
4. UPDATES ON ACTIONS FROM THE PREVIOUS MINUTES NOT COVERED ELSEWHERE ON THE AGENDA
– Minute 68a refers – Contact WSALC regarding City Council concerns with comments received from the External Auditor following the conclusion of the 2023-2024 external audit.

5. PROPERTY SUB-COMMITTEE
To receive and note the minutes of the Property Sub-Committee meetings held on 28 January 2025.
6. BUSINESS PLAN SUB-COMMITTEE MEETING – 14 JANUARY 2025
a) To note the recommendations made to the Meeting of the City Council held on 22 January 2025 by the Business Plan Sub-Committee (minutes 41 and 42 refer).
b) To consider a recommendation from the Business Plan Sub-Committee to allocate up to £20,000 from Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funds for the purchase of pop-up staging to replace the existing staging at the Council House and to be made available as a community resource for performances across the City (minute 42 refers).

a) City Council Standing Orders
To review the current Chichester City Council Standing Orders (ratified September 2024 and amended March 2024) and recommend amendments, if any, to Full Council.
b) City Council Financial Regulations
To review the current Chichester City Council Financial Regulations (ratified June 2024) and recommend amendments, if any, to Full Council.

The filming, photographing and recording of City Council meetings is now permitted by those members of the press and public attending. This includes the use of mobile devices by those using social media. It would be appreciated if anyone who wishes to do this could let the Chairman know before the meeting commences.
However, these provisions will not apply on occasions where the press and public are excluded from the meeting when confidential matters are discussed.
It is requested that discretion is exercised and nothing done to disrupt or distract the meeting in any way. The Chairman will reserve the right to request that filming/recording ceases if it is having a detrimental effect upon the meeting. If you do not wish to be filmed then please let the Chairman know so that alternative arrangements can be made.
