Ask for an incident number, and ask to be contact with an update or outcome. You;ll need to give the location of the incident (nearest street, postcode, map reference or what3words).

What to report:

  • Sewage discharge (may include sanitary waste)
  • Foul smells
  • Fish in distress or dead fish
  • Oily film on the water surface
  • Grey/blue cloudy water
  • Fragrant or soapy white foam
  • Collapsed or badly damaged river banks

Also flooding of river blocked by a vehicle or fallen tree causing a risk of flooding.
Other damage or danger to the natural environment.
