Kate Mosse – Women Who Resisted – presented by Chichester Marks Holocaust Memorial Day
Coming to The Minerva Theatre on Saturday 27th January 2024 for one day only, “Women Who Resisted”, Chichester Marks Holocaust Memorial Day presents a specially commissioned one-woman show from local author Kate Mosse.
For 2024, Chichester will commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day with a unique, specially-commissioned one-woman show by historian, novelist and Cicestrian, Kate Mosse, following her in conversation event with David Nott in 2023. Inspired by her sold-out one woman show Warrior Queens & Quiet Revolutionaries, which toured the UK to great acclaim in spring 2023, Women Who Resisted will celebrate extraordinary women of the Second World War of all nations whose courage and bravery deserves to be better known. From Irena Sendler, Yukiko Sugihara, Sophie Scholl and Renia Kukielka to Mary Elmes, Noor Inayat Khan and Violette, come and hear about some of the amazing women who stood firm against the evils of the Third Reich. For one day only.
Performances are at 2.15pm and 7.15pm in the Minerva Theatre.
