9. IBABS COMMITTEE AND MINUTING

Further to the presentation given at the previous meeting (minute 79, 24 January 2022 refers) to consider purchase of the IBABS system.

10. SPEED INDICATOR DEVICE (SID)

To consider the request for CIL funding in the amount of £1,080 + VAT for Crown Civil Engineering to install pavement sockets to allow the use of the SID in St Pancras. One socket to be installed on each side, east and west bound, as approved by West Sussex County Council and Sussex Police.

11. MODIFICATION TO STANDING ORDERS

To consider the addition of the following to section 15 of the Chichester City Council Standing Orders as adopted by the Council on 23 September 2020:

The Mayor, the Deputy Mayor and the Chairmen of the Finance, Community Affairs and Planning and Conservation Committees shall be ex-officio and voting members of every Standing Committee.

The filming, photographing and recording of City Council meetings is now permitted by those members of the press and public attending. This includes the use of mobile devices by those using social media. It would be appreciated if anyone who wishes to do this could let the Chairman know before the meeting commences.

However, these provisions will not apply on occasions where the press and public are excluded from the meeting when confidential matters are discussed.

It is requested that discretion is exercised and nothing done to disrupt or distract the meeting in any way. The Chairman will reserve the right to request that filming/recording ceases if it is having a detrimental effect upon the meeting. If you do not wish to be filmed then please let the Chairman know so that alternative arrangements can be made.
