Own a piece of Chichester history – old street name plates go under the hammer

Chichester City Council has put up 133 old street name plates for auction.

The online timed auction will take place from Friday 21 July to Sunday 30 July from 10am to 8pm and is being run by Stride and Son Auctioneers.

This is a rare chance to own a piece of Chichester history and all proceeds will be going to the Mayor’s charities which this year are Chichester District Foodbank and Second Chance Chichester.

Availability of unaudited accounts for Chichester City Council to year end 31 March 2023

Each year, Chichester City Council’s Annual Return needs to be reviewed by an external auditor appointed by the Public Sector Audit Appointments.

The unaudited Annual Return has now been published with this notice and the accounts will be available for inspection from Friday 30 June to Thursday 10 August 2023.

As it has yet to be reviewed by the appointed auditor, it is subject to change as a result of the external review.

Chichester Gala and Family Fun Day

The Chichester Gala and Family Fun Day is returning to Priory Park on Saturday 1 July 2023.

There will be a wide variety of stalls selling their wares, a vintage and artisan market in the beautiful Guildhall, a variety of entertainment, a BBQ, a tea tent and lots of other activities to keep the family amused.

There will also be charities and community groups promoting themselves whilst raising funds for their causes.
