Chichester Eco-Festival – 6 November 2021

Transition Chichester has announced a free entry Eco-Festival taking place at the Newell Centre, Tozer Way, on Saturday 6 November.

The free entry event will be a family-friendly celebration of everything that is happening in Chichester to protect the environment and will inform residents about how they can get involved.

An Eco-Fair will run from 3pm until 6pm with food being supplied by UK Harvest.

Activities will include music, poetry, t-shirt and card printing as well as stalls showcasing the work of local organic gardeners, conservation volunteers, tree wardens and Transition Chichester.

The event will feature a swap-shop clothing rail and UK Harvest will be providing hot food for donations.

The Eco-Fair will be followed at 7pm by a panel discussion on the theme of “Working Locally to tackle climate change and protect our environment”. This will be chaired by Councillor Martyn Bell and panellists will include Councillor Heather Barrie (Green Party), environmental solutionist Nicola Peel, UK Harvest Chief Executive Yvonne Thomson and Sussex Wildlife Trust President Tony Whitbread.

The panel event is free entry but spaces are limited so please book your space here:
