Great Big Green Week – 10 to 18 June
Great Big Green Week is coming soon and there are a number of events that have been arranged, focusing on Chichester South and public transport.
Saturday 10 June – bus trip to Selsey for a litterpick on the beach. Meet at the Cathedral at 10.15am to take the number 51 bus to Selsey
Tuesday 13th June – work on the mini orchard on Florence Park from 9 am. Wear sturdy shoes and sensible clothes. Bring tools if possible. Refreshments will be provided.
Wednesday 14th June – 4-6pm – Litterpick in the Whyke/Kingsham Area of Chichester. Meet at 4 pm at the Band stand on Whyke Oval. After litterpicking we will meet again at 5.30 pm to have some refreshments and to make some community art with the litter.
Friday 16th June – 11-1 pm – join us at the Earth Cafe in the Guide Hut, Whyke Lane, to get your creative juices flowing and write some Letters to Tomorrow. You can find out more details here: Home – Letters to Tomorrow. This is a national campaign about writing letters about your hopes and fears for the future to your future self, or to your grand-children.
Friday 16th June – evening. Join us on a bus trip to Midhurst for a plant-based dinner in the Old Library. We will be taking the no 60 bus from the Cathedral at 5.55pm .
