MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PLANNING DELEGATION SUB-COMMITTEE HELD ON TUESDAY 29 JANUARY 2019 AT 9.30AM

RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meeting held on 18 December 2018 having been printed and circulated were signed by the Chairman as a correct record.

The Chairman advised members that the next item had been brought forward to allow a local resident to speak about the application.

Redevelopment of the site with a terrace of 2 no. 4-bed and 2 no. 3-bed dwellings, parking, landscaping and associated works.

Mrs Kerry Simmons of Genesis Town Planning was present for this item. 

A local resident addressed the Committee and spoke against the application. 

Objection. The proposal would represent overdevelopment of the plot. The form, mass and bulk of the building and the intensity of use of the plot would unacceptably harm the character of the area. The proposal would result in four 4-bedroomed dwellings and would provide an inadequate housing mix and insufficient parking.
