New Mayor for the City of Chichester 2023-2024, Councillor Craig J. L. Gershater is elected

The new Mayor of Chichester for 2023-2024, Councillor Craig J. L. Gershater, was elected at the Annual Meeting of the City Council held on 17 May 2023 in the Assembly Room at the Council House in North Street, Chichester.

Also appointed was Councillor Maureen Corfield as the Deputy Mayor and Councillor Rhys Chant was elected as the Bailiff to the City.

Mr Bruno Kondabeka was confirmed as the Mayor’s Chaplain.

The occasion also saw the recently elected Members of the City Council attend their first meeting of the 2023-2027 administration with many of them attending as Councillors for the first time.
