7. PLANNING AND CONSERVATION COMMITTEE MEETING – 4 JANUARY 2024
To cancel the planned 4 January 2024 Committee meeting due to time constraints for publishing the agenda and to delegate authority to the Planning Adviser to respond to planning applications on behalf of the City Council for this period.
8. CONSULTATION BY WEST SUSSEX COUNTY COUNCIL REGARDING THE SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL CORRIDORS IN CHICHESTER
Planning Adviser to give a briefing regarding the current consultations on the Chichester Sustainable Travel Corridors, in particular:
- Oaklands Way cycle scheme
- Chichester to Tangmere sustainable transport corridor

9. WHITEHOUSE FARM PHASE TWO AND THE SOUTHERN ACCESS ROUTE
To note the letter received from Chichester District Council in response to City Council representations regarding Whitehouse Farm phase 2 and the Southern Access Route. (copy attached)
10. LOCAL PLAN UPDATE
To note that Chichester District Council has announced that the Chichester District Local Plan will be submitted for approval in early 2024.

13. CONSULTATION ON STREET TRADING CONSENT – CHICHESTER VEGAN MARKET
To respond to an application received by Chichester District Council for the licensing of a Chichester vegan street market to be held in January 2024.

14. CONSULTATION ON CHICHESTER DISTRICT COUNCIL DRAFT PARKING ORDER (2024)
To consider the statement of reasons and draft parking order from Chichester District Council in regards to changes to parking fees from 1 April 2024.

DATE OF NEXT ORDINARY MEETING: Thursday 1 February 2024 (subject to agreement to cancel the meeting arranged for the 4 January 2024).

The filming, photographing and recording of City Council meetings is now permitted by those members of the press and public attending. This includes the use of mobile devices by those using social media. It would be appreciated if anyone who wishes to do this could let the Chairman know before the meeting commences.
However, these provisions will not apply on occasions where the press and public are excluded from the meeting when confidential matters are discussed.
It is requested that discretion is exercised and nothing done to disrupt or distract the meeting in any way. The Chairman will reserve the right to request that filming/recording ceases if it is having a detrimental effect upon the meeting. If you do not wish to be filmed then please let the Chairman know so that alternative arrangements can be made
