CANCELLED – Gin and Fizz Festival – 21 May 2022

The City Council has become aware that this event, due to take place in the Assembly Room, will not be going ahead.

The company involved has made this announcement on their Facebook page:

Dear Ticket Holders,
It is with a heavy heart and deep regret that we must announce the cancellation of all of the scheduled events organised by Gin Festivals UK Limited, and the end of operations for Gin Festivals UK Limited.

We were amongst many high-profile event organisers forced to reschedule many events due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Despite the best efforts of everyone involved, this combined with the extreme logistical and financial setbacks caused by the pandemic mean it’s no longer viable for us to continue trading. We have been working tirelessly around the clock since Covid restrictions ended to get the business back on its feet. Unfortunately it has now come to the point where we have been advised that the company can no longer be rescued and closing is the only option.

Since 2019 we have been successfully producing shows across the UK so having to cancel events and close the company is a very hard choice.

“Ticket holders for any cancelled event who purchased tickets via ourselves (tickettailor.com) should contact either Paypal (if you have buyer protection)or your bank/credit card provider to administer a chargeback. If tickets were purchased anywhere else, please contact your point of purchase.”

We will try our upmost to reply to any emails as fast as we can.

Kind regards
Gin Festivals UK Limited

The City Council is not responsible for the event or any related ticket sales so ticket holders should contact their point of sale, PayPal, bank or card issuer to discuss refunds.
