Chichester District Council – Local List public consultation – 2020

Chichester District Council’s Local List sets out the information that applicants need to provide in support of their planning applications in the Chichester District. It excludes planning applications within the South Downs National Park, which has its own separate list managed by the South Downs National Park Authority.

The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) states that local authorities should publish a list of their information requirements for applications for planning permission, and the list should be reviewed at least every two years.

The Council’s Local List was last reviewed in July 2017, and therefore it has been reviewed and updated. The updates take account of the changes in national and local planning policies and other guidance associated with the consideration of key issues when determining planning applications. The updated list is currently the subject of a public consultation.

The consultation version of the revised Chichester District Council Local List is available to view:

If you would like to comment on the revised Local List, comments can be submitted by email to dcplanning@chichester.gov.uk. Please mark your comments for the attention of Mrs Stevens (Development Manager – CDC Applications).

The consultation closes on 10 August 2020
